Operator Packing 2 shifts in Oostzaan

The Operator Packaging A works under the supervision of the Team Leader and/or Operator Packaging B on one or more (partial) processes and/or machines of the packaging department. This involves the use of a number of production tools/machines in such a way that the requested quality and quantities/numbers are realized.

The function is situated within the packing department. The sub-departments associated with this position are:

Packing: including the drilling, stamping and busching of the product, also in this subdepartment the finished product is packed (hand packing and/or machine packing);

Cutting/Sawing: here the products are cut and/or sawn (manual and/or machine);

The climatic chamber;

Laminating: here the sheets are "glued" together to provide a thicker quality product;

Printing: this is where the product is printed and die-cut.

Tasks associated with this position are:

• Post-processing and/or packaging the Production according to quality specifications;
• Inspecting the finished product to be processed prior to packaging, inspecting and controlling the quality of the finished and/or packaged finished product;
• Correctly adjusting and setting the equipment used (Competent to perform simple set-up tasks related to cutting, sawing, packing, coating, drilling, stamping, bush punching, dulling, and/or laminating process).
• Managing the hygienic condition of the equipment used with the immediate environment;
• Working in compliance with all safety, HACCP, food safety and company regulations.

• An MBO level 2 work and thinking level
• Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical process control and engineering
• Willing to work 2 shifts; (7:00 to 15:00 and 15:00 to 23:00)
• Knowledge of and experience with HACCP/food safety is a plus
• Good communication skills in word and writing (Dutch and/or English)
• Several years of experience as e.g. Apprentice operator (Packing) in process technology and/or industry

• A gross monthly salary between €2100 - €2200 gross per month excluding shift bonus 12.5%)
