WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Perform periodic inspections of production facilities and utilities;
- Resolve reported failures of mechanical components of production facilities;
- Timely calling in Maintenance Engineers and colleagues from other trades through the MTD Chief, or indicating the need to hire external expertise, manpower or machinery;
- Disassemble, assemble and adjust equipment;
- Making proposals to improve technical situations;
- Participate in projects and assist in the installation of new facilities;
- Discussing progress, details and problems with the supervisor;
- Correcting deviations in the execution of orders or signalling deficiencies to the chief;
- Informing third-party and in-house fitters about work situations, details of (production) processes, procedures and regulations;
- Incidentally supervising, instructing and monitoring compliance with professional, quality, health & safety, environmental and safety regulations by third-party fitters;
- Record relevant data on the use and maintenance of equipment and tools belonging to the department;
- Taking initiatives and carrying out improvement and overhaul work.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU?
- Technical education at (at least) MBO level;
- At least 5 years' experience in a similar position;
- Communication skills;
- Accurate and able to work independently.
